It is with great sadness that we pause for a moment to mark
the passing of Windows XP. The child of
Windows 2000, XP is survived by 7 and 8.1 (Vista and 8 never really lived).

On April 8th, 2014 Microsoft pulled the plug. The
virus men seemed to hold back their attacks long enough to see you put in the
ground. But now we know their real
intent: to wait until Microsoft quit patching vulnerabilities and turn the XP
boxes of the world into an army of virus spewing, data corrupting zombie
monsters.
We couldn’t let it end like this, XP. We value all the data we’ve gathered together
too much. So we had to put you
down. After migrating our data, we nuked
the hard drive, and sent the machine off to be recycled.
Now we are living life in the fast lane with 7 and we never
knew it could be so good. When Microsoft
comes ‘round to peddle its latest 8.1 wares, we’ll remember you, XP. Come back
in 2022, Microsoft, and take Windows 7 from our cold, dead, virus spewing, zombie
hard drives.

hh2 Web Services officially ended support for Windows XP
along with Internet Explorer 8 on April 8th, 2014. We highly recommend to all our customers to
upgrade to at least Windows 7. For those
of you who are still holding on, it’s time to let go. Let XP rest in peace.
